Common use

Mentax is indicated for the topical treatment of the following dermatological conditions:

  • Tinea pedis (athlete’s foot): Interdigital and moccasin-type infections
  • Tinea corporis (ringworm): Annular, scaly plaques on the body
  • Tinea cruris (jock itch): Inguinal and perineal fungal infections
  • Tinea versicolor: Caused by Malassezia species, presenting as hypopigmented or hyperpigmented macules
  • Cutaneous candidiasis: Superficial infections by Candida species

Dosage and direction

  • Apply a thin layer of Mentax cream to cover the affected area and approximately 1 inch of the surrounding healthy skin once daily.
  • Gently massage into the skin until fully absorbed.
  • Wash hands thoroughly before and after application, unless hands are the treatment site.
  • Duration of treatment:
    • Tinea pedis: 4 weeks
    • Tinea corporis/cruris: 2 weeks
    • Tinea versicolor: 2 weeks

Precautions
