Common use

Alavert is commonly used for the relief of symptoms associated with seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever), such as sneezing, rhinorrhea, pruritus of the nose/palate/throat, and ocular itching and watering. Dosage and direction

For adults and children 6 years of age and older: take one 10 mg tablet once daily. Do not exceed one tablet in 24 hours. For standard tablets: swallow whole with water. Dosing may be taken with or without food. For pediatric patients under 6 years of age, consult a healthcare provider for appropriate dosing.

Precautions

Storage

Store at room temperature (20–25°C or 68–77°F). Keep in original blister package until use to protect from moisture. For orally disintegrating tablets, ensure hands are dry before handling. Keep tightly closed and away from excessive heat and moisture. Do not use if blister is torn or broken.
